Key Steps
- Management and Portfolio Access:
- Access all data across the system.
- Edit initiative details by clicking on the three dots next to the initiative name and selecting "Edit".
- Grant access levels (Read-Write, Editor, Read-Only) to users for initiatives.
- Manage access to portfolios by clicking on the portfolio name and assigning access levels.
- Manage Licensed Users:
- Access the settings area by clicking on the welcome link and then selecting "Settings".
- Go to the "Users" tab to view and manage ChangePlan licenses.
- Add new users by entering their details and assigning access to portfolios and initiatives.
- Save and notify the new user via email with a login token.
- Maintain the Org Chart:
- Access the org chart settings by clicking on the welcome link and navigating to the org chart tiers.
- Add new groups by selecting the parent group and clicking the plus sign to add a child group.
- Ensure new child groups inherit initiative, impact, and activity data from parent groups.
- Tweak Configurable Settings:
- Access the settings page and adjust general settings, initiative settings, assessment settings, and change effort settings.
- Customize checklist items, change phases, impact types, and other configurable options as needed.
- Set Key Dates:
- Navigate to the key dates tab in the settings page.
- Add key dates such as holidays, start/end dates, and blackout periods.
- Include descriptions for blackout periods to inform users of restrictions.
- Save key dates to appear on all users' timelines.
