All Initiatives Timeline

Overview

The All Initiatives Timeline in ChangePlan provides a visual representation of your organization's initiatives over time. This feature helps teams track go-live dates, key activities, and overall project timelines at a glance.

Accessing the Timeline

  1. Go to the All Initiatives Page
      • Navigate to the left-side menu.
      • Click on All Initiatives Timeline.
  1. Adjust Your View
      • The system defaults to the current timeline view.
      • Use the zoom controls to adjust the scale of your view.

Viewing and Navigating the Timeline

Zooming Options

You can adjust the scale of your timeline view:
  • Month View: Displays initiatives with red lines marking their go-live dates.
  • Week View: A focused view showing recent and upcoming initiatives.
  • Quarter View: A broader overview of initiatives grouped by quarters.
  • Quarter-Year Range: Displays three months at a time, ideal for leadership presentations.

Scrolling Through the Timeline

  • Scroll left or right to navigate past and future initiatives.
  • Use the expand/collapse function to show or hide engagement communications and learning activities related to each initiative.

Exporting the Timeline

  • Click the Export Image button (top-right corner).
  • The system will generate an image file of the timeline for easy sharing.

Use Cases

  • Project Planning: Understand the timing and overlap of initiatives.
  • Leadership Updates: Present quarter-by-quarter views of ongoing initiatives.
  • Change Management: Track when key communications and training activities are scheduled.
