How to Remove an Audience from an Initiative
Removing stakeholders, individuals, or custom groups from an initiative can be done quickly in ChangePlan. Follow the step-by-step guide below to manage your initiative’s audience effectively.
Step 1: Navigate to the Initiative
- Open the Initiative Dashboard for the initiative you want to update.
- From the Single Initiative View, click on the Audiences tab.
Step 2: Removing Org Chart Levels
- In the Org Chart Tab, locate the group or level you wish to remove.
- Select the group(s) by clicking the checkboxes on the right.
- You can select multiple groups or levels at once.
- At the upper right corner, click on Actions and choose Remove from Initiative.
- Confirm the removal in the pop-up to finalize.
Step 3: Removing Individuals
- Navigate to the Individuals Tab.
- Select the individual(s) you want to remove by clicking their corresponding checkboxes.
- Use the multi-select option to remove multiple individuals at once.
- Click on Actions at the top-right corner and choose Remove from Initiative.
- Confirm the removal in the pop-up box.
Step 4: Removing Custom Groups
- Go to the Custom Groups Tab within the Audiences section.
- Select the custom group(s) you want to remove by checking their respective boxes.
- Click Actions at the upper right and choose Remove from Initiative.
- Confirm the action in the pop-up to complete the removal.
Additional Tips
- Bulk Removal: Use the multi-select feature to save time by removing multiple items (org chart levels, individuals, or groups) in one action.
- Review Changes: Before confirming, ensure that the selected audience is no longer required for the initiative.
- Custom Groups: Keep your custom groups updated to reflect current project needs.
Important Notes
- For Admin Users:
- Admins have the option to remove individuals entirely from the company in addition to removing them from an initiative.
- Use caution when removing individuals from the company to avoid losing important records.
- Non-Admin Users:
- If you’re not an admin, you can only remove stakeholders or individuals from the initiative, not the entire company.
