Single Initiative Activity Timeline
Accessing the Activity Timeline
- Navigate to the Single Initiative View.
- Click on Timeline in the left navigation menu.
- Choose from different views: Phases, Activity Type, or Audience.
Using Different Timeline Views
1. Phases View
- Activities are grouped by change phases (e.g., Awareness, Engagement, Adoption).
- Scroll through each phase to see specific activities.
- Click on an activity to view its details, status, and completion progress.
2. Activity Type View
Activities are categorized based on their function in the change process:
- Engagement Activities β Stakeholder workshops, briefings, town halls.
- Communications (Comms) Activities β Email announcements, newsletters, intranet posts.
- Learning & Coaching Activities β Training sessions, coaching programs.
- Other Activities β Any uncategorized initiatives.
This view helps users analyze activity distribution and assess resource allocation by category.
3. Audience View (Org Chart-Based)
- This view organizes activities by audience groups (e.g., Finance, HR, Operations).
- Helps track which teams or departments are involved in specific activities.
- Click on an audience group to expand and view associated activities.
π Tip: Use this view to understand which stakeholders are most impacted by upcoming change activities.
Managing Milestones in the Timeline
Users can add milestones to mark key events and deadlines:
Types of Milestones:
- Single-Date Milestones β Appear as light blue vertical lines on the timeline.
- Date-Range Milestones β Display as transparent bars spanning the selected date range.
Adding, Editing, or Deleting Milestones
- Click the Edit Milestones button at the top of the timeline.
- Add a title, date, or date range for the milestone.
- Edit or delete milestones as needed.
- Use the toggle option to hide milestones for a clearer activity view.
Exporting the Activity Timeline
Users can export the timeline for reporting or presentations:
- Click Export Image in the top-right corner.
- The system generates an image file of the timeline.
- Share it with stakeholders or use it for project updates.
