How can we help?

Give people access to an initiative

Initiative access levels (Full Access, Editor, Viewer), how to assign them, and the Change manager title.

Who this is for: Admins and initiative owners
Each person who can open an initiative has an access level: Full Access, Editor or Viewer. The Change manager field is separate: it's a title for reporting and doesn't change what anyone can do.

Access levels

  • Full Access: full control of the initiative, including who else can access it. (This level used to be called "Change Manager".)
  • Editor: edit the initiative's content without full control.
  • Viewer: read-only.

Give someone access to an initiative (admins)

  1. Click Settings in the left menu and open the Users tab.
  1. Click the user, or click + Add for a new user, and check their licence: Full or Read-only.
  1. Tick the checkbox next to each initiative, then choose Full Access, Editor or Viewer.
  1. Click Save.
You can also do this from the initiative: open it, click Edit initiative in its left menu, and use Initiative access.

Assign the Change manager title

  1. Open the initiative.
  1. Click Edit initiative in its left menu.
  1. Find the Change manager field.
  1. Select one or more licensed users and save.

The title shows who leads the initiative in reporting. Removing or changing it doesn't change anyone's access, and a person can have Full Access without being listed as Change manager.
