You can quickly add multiple impacts to an initiative by importing them using an Excel file. This is especially helpful when assigning impacts to specific org chart groups and adding extra details like impact type, responsible owners, and timelines.

🧭 Step 1: Add Org Chart Groups to Your Initiative

Before importing, add the impacted org chart groups to your initiative’s audience.
  1. Go to your initiative.
  1. Click the Audience tab.
  1. Select the groups to include (e.g. Operations > Distribution > Western Region).
  1. Click Add.
βœ… These groups now appear in the audience list with their full hierarchy.

πŸ“‚ Step 2: Download and Complete the Excel Template

  1. Go to the Impacts tab.
  1. Click Import Impacts.
  1. Download the Excel template provided.
Fill in the following columns:

What’s changing (e.g. β€œNew reporting platform rolled out”)
Impact on Audience
How the change affects the group
High / Medium / Low Impacted

Email of the responsible person
Start / End Dates (optional)
When the impact begins and ends (used in heatmap view)

⬆️ Step 3: Import the Excel File

  1. Back in the Impacts tab, click Import Impacts.
  1. Upload your completed Excel file.
  1. Click Continue to confirm.

  • Type, change, and audience impact display in the list.
  • Only the final group name (e.g. Western Region) shows by default.
  • Click Edit to see the full org chart path.
