How It Works

1. SFTP Setup by ChangePlan - We provision a secure, private-key-authenticated SFTP directory and provide your team with credentials.

2. Report Configuration - Your IT team sets up a custom report in your HR software to export key org data in XLS format. We recommend that this report is scheduled to run monthly, generating a file that reflects your latest org structure.

3. Automated Upload to SFTP - Your HR software sends the generated file directly to ChangePlan’s secure SFTP server.

4. Real-Time File Pickup & Processing - Once the file is uploaded, ChangePlan system detects and processes it automatically.

5. Admin Review - ChangePlan compares the file against your existing data and highlights any differences. Your administrator can review and approve the changes — including reallocating project data from org groups that no longer exist and removing employees no longer in the organization.

6. Org Chart Updates - Once this review is complete, the org chart is updated: new entities are created, and existing data is refreshed.
