Setup Process
ChangePlan’s technical team collaborates with your IT or HRIS administrators to establish a secure file transfer connection. Your HRIS exports structured org data and transmits it to ChangePlan on a regular schedule (typically monthly or bi-monthly).
Data Sync Workflow
- HRIS data export:
Your HRIS system generates a data file containing employee and group information and sends it to ChangePlan via secure SMTP.
- Data ingestion and mapping:
ChangePlan processes the file, extracting relevant org and personnel data.
- Structural comparison:
The platform compares the new data against the existing structure to identify changes such as removed or updated groups.
- Admin alert:
Designated administrators are notified of any discrepancies and can review changes in the ‘Settings’ page.
- Initiative alignment:
If groups have been removed, initiatives linked to them can be reassigned to valid, active groups.
- Record updates:
