Adding a Portfolio

  1. Accessing Portfolio Options
      • Must be an administrator or portfolio owner
      • Click on the "Add" button on the portfolio's page
  1. Specifying Portfolio Details
      • Enter the portfolio name (e.g., Wednesday portfolio)
      • Set the status as active, inactive, or hidden (choose active)
      • Select owner, contributor, and viewer roles (e.g., self as owner)
  1. Adding Initiatives to the Portfolio
      • Choose initiatives to add to the portfolio (e.g., Thursday afternoon initiative, Wednesday sunrise initiative)
      • Click "Save"
  1. Notification Option
      • System may offer to notify the user via email
      • Choose whether to notify (e.g., click "No" if self is the administrator)
  1. Confirmation and Stakeholder Count
      • Portfolio added in alphabetical order at the bottom
      • View total stakeholders (e.g., 989 stakeholders)
  1. Integration with Initiatives
      • Portfolio now appears in the dropdown menu when adding new initiatives
      • Can select the Wednesday portfolio to add initiatives to it
  1. Future Management
      • Manage and monitor initiatives within the newly added portfolio
