How colors are used in ChangePlan
Impact heatmaps
- Red - high impact level
- Orange - medium impact level
- Green - low impact level
We also use a 'tint' of red, orange and green to show how heavily a change will impact on audience groups:
Activity burden heatmaps (default settings)
- Yellow - affected stakeholders have less than 0.5hrs per person per week away from normal work due to change management activities
- Orange - affected stakeholders have between 0.5hrs and 1hr per person per week away from normal work due to change management activities
- Red - affected stakeholders have between 1hr and 2hrs per person per week away from normal work due to change management activities
- Purple - affected stakeholders have over 2hrs per person per week away from normal work due to change management activities
Risk heatmaps
- Green - low risk rating
- Yellow - low-medium risk rating
- Orange - medium-high risk rating
- Red - high risk rating
Change effort assessment
- Green - initiative has low change effort required
- Yellow - initiative has low-medium change effort required
- Orange - initiative has medium-high change effort required
- Red - initiative has high change effort required
Initiative timeline
- Project milestones - blue vertical line
- Key dates - grey vertical band

- Initiative go-lives - red vertical line
- Key dates - grey vertical band
Success metrics (readiness & adoption levels)
- Red - low score (2 or lower)
- Orange - moderate score (over 2 but under 3.5)
- Green - high score (3.5 and over)
