Set up single sign-on (SSO)

How ChangePlan sets up SSO with Okta, Microsoft or a direct connection, and what your IT team sends.

Who this is for: Admins and your IT team
Single sign-on (SSO) lets your people sign in to ChangePlan with your company's identity provider. ChangePlan sets SSO up for you with your IT team; once it's live, users can sign in with SSO or with their ChangePlan email and password.

Supported options

  • Okta
  • Microsoft
  • A direct connection to your own identity provider (SAML)

Set up SSO

  1. Email support@changeplan.co to say you'd like SSO and which identity provider you use. We'll connect your IT team with our Tech Lead.
  1. We send your IT team what they need to register ChangePlan in your identity provider: the Reply URL, the Entity ID and a metadata file.
  1. Your IT team sets up ChangePlan in your identity provider and sends us back the certificates and the redirect URL for your users. Many organisations send this as an XML configuration file from their identity provider.
  1. We configure ChangePlan with your details and let you know when SSO is ready to test.

Check your SSO settings

Admins can see your SSO configuration in Settings > SSO setup. This tab is read-only. To change anything, contact support@changeplan.co.
