Who this is for: Admins
Hide an initiative or portfolio when its work is sensitive or confidential. Hidden items, and everything in them, are invisible to anyone without access to them.
Hide an initiative
- Open the initiative.
- Click Edit initiative in its left menu.
- Set Status to Hidden and save.
Only admins can create hidden initiatives and portfolios.

Where hidden items are left out
For anyone without access, hidden portfolios and initiatives don't appear in, or count towards:
- Reports: every report on the Reports page, including the Change Effort reports, Impact and Activity Burden heatmaps, Open Risks and adoption metrics.
- Tables: the Initiatives page, the Portfolios page and the Team Utilization page.
- Choices in forms: the portfolio list in the Create dialog, the initiative list when adding or editing a portfolio, and the duplicate dialogs for activities, impacts and risks.
- Timelines: initiative timelines and timelines on Audiences.
- Audiences: initiative, impact and activity counts, and time away from business-as-usual calculations.
- Filters, search and the recent initiatives list in the left menu.
What hidden initiatives don't send
- No pulse checks.
- No messages to activity owners or deliverers.
Tips
