How can we help?

Close a change risk

Mark a change risk as closed when it has been dealt with, or reopen it if it returns.

Who this is for: Change managers, initiative editors and risk owners.
When a change risk has been dealt with or is no longer relevant, mark it as closed. It stays on the initiative as a record, but no longer counts as an open risk.

Close a risk

  1. Open the initiative and click Risks in its left menu.
  1. Find the risk in the table. Use Filter or search if the list is long.
  1. Open the risk to edit it, or use the three-dot menu on its row and choose Edit.
  1. Change Status to Closed.
  1. Save your changes.
The risk no longer counts towards Open Risks on the Initiatives page.

Reopen a risk

If the risk comes back, edit it again and change Status back to Open.
